What’s On The Menu Today by Emmanuel Brown

“No one should be purchasing steaks today when there is only enough money to eat peanut butter for the entire week.”

Many of us use excuses such as love, appreciation, and concern as reasons to do what we really can not or should not be doing. The temporary feelings that we get when we do these things soon fade when reality sets in and we realize that we could not afford the things that we did or the things that we obtained.

The cost is not always financial because the costs could also be emotional, spiritual, or moral. We could find our lives in a mental hole filled with unnecessary pain, struggles or suffering because of a decision that was made without considering the costs.
