Stay on COURSE by Unique Solid Foundation

Yes, we sometimes do start off with great “intentions.” We come up with great ideas and plans with the initial thought toward committing ourselves to the ideas/or plans we have set before us. However, we allow distractions, discouragement, delays, deception, disbelief (fear) of things, and circumstances around us to stir us off course. Leading us toward wanting to quit and not finish our course. Starting and stopping hinders where we’ve been destined to go. We must not lose our focus or take time lightly (for granted).

Our first example is given in the biblical time of Terah, the father of Abram gets off course by stopping instead of continuing from Ur heading to Canaan. Stopping they became settled in Haran where he died, not finishing his course (Gen. 11:10-31). No one I know can’t witness to stopping and their goal was left unfinished. We can stand firm on the truth that our Father in Heaven is faithful and will complete whatever His Word (He spoke) comes forth to do! As we read in 2 Chron. 6:14 Solomon prayed giving thanks to what God spoke to his father, had been completed when the temple was built. Which couldn’t be built by David the Warrior there was blood on his hand. BUT GOD fulfilled the completion of the prophecy of the temple being built by Solomon.

I come to encourage “ALL” of the importance of not given up, dropping out, and quitting. There are some who are truly pressing forward by faith to finish the course, that has been set before us.

In spite of our obstacles and challenges that arises as we run this race. We must have a desire (passion) to continue speaking life. As in Matthew 17:20-21:

20 He said to them, Because of the littleness of your faith [that is, your lack of [a] firmly relying upon trust]. For truly I say to you, if you have faith [[b]that is living] like a grain of mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, Move from here to yonder place, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.

Realize some only go by prayer and fasting.

21 [c] But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.

Hebrew 10:35-36

35 Do not, therefore, fling away your fearless confidence, for it carries a great and glorious compensation of reward.

36 For you have need of steadfast patience and endurance, so that you may perform and fully accomplish the will of God, and thus receive and [a]carry away [and enjoy to the full] what is promised.

James 1:2-4

2 Consider it wholly joyful, my brethren, whenever you are enveloped in or encounter trials of any sort or fall into various temptations.

3 Be assured and understand that the trial and proving of your faith bring out endurance and steadfastness and patience.

4 But let endurance and steadfastness and patience have full play and do a thorough work, so that you may be [people] perfectly and fully developed [with no defects], lacking in nothing.

By faith, it shall be moved. Empowering us to continue on toward finishing our course that’s been set. It’s about enduring to receive an eternal reward. In order to achieve, to be successful and prosperous takes courage, and strength. In this love walk by faith to receive and be empowered to give we must “ABIDE”- means to be able to live with or stand. If you can’t abide by something, it means you can’t stand it. If you can abide by it, it means you can live with it (dictionary). In the Word Jesus speaks:

7 If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.

If we abide in the Father we are capable of finishing our course, or we can’t do anything without Him.

We must keep our eyes on the prize by staying focused. In spite of the changes/challenges that come to test our faith. We know in whom has all control/power. He is the SOURCE of this Universe. All things belong to Him. We’re only STEWARDs (managers/or ambassadors) which we’re to be imitators of Christ. So, when we’re doing as 2 Tim. 4:7 says:

7 I have fought the good (worthy, honorable, and noble) fight, I have finished the race, I have kept (firmly held) the faith.

A time in which we will not have to guess nor wonder. For we shall know there will be no regrets at the final time of Judgement. We will then be able to hear our Savior say, “WELL DONE!”

We can’t allow no one nor thing to separate us from the love of God; can’t allow the cares of this world to separate us from God; can’t allow our shortcoming to separate us from the love of God; can’t allow fear to separate us from the love of God we must be determined to endure by holding fast to the Word, praying, obeying and by faith receive what’s been promised when we’ve finished our COURse..

Be blessed!
