Dealing with the Hate *Kill it with kindness* – Soulful Expressions by Bren

In light of all the hate, violence and lack of unity across the globe; I have learned some very important lessons about life and of self. I believe that true fulfillment comes from the soul, and from embracing the soul of others. No one person is the center of the universe, however we each have an important role in it.

We all have the responsibility to make this world a better place; for self and all those around us. Although from the lips of many emanate peace, unity and concern, their actions speak otherwise. They talk a good talk, but don’t walk the walk.

Hate and ignorance is never resolved by more hate and ignorance. If we have not been taught respect and tolerance, it is evident in our behavior toward oneself and toward others. It is difficult for either to manifest outwardly in our everyday lives. Homage begins at home.

Society is filled with much hate, ignorance and narrow-minded people. It is portrayed in the daily news, in our government and even in our own back yard. As a result, the vicious cycle continues. When we learn self-respect and self-love we are able to accept, respect and love others. We are able to incorporate peace and unity in our walk. Our actions will NOT be that of animosity and war. Nothing is ever gained if we respond to hate with more hate…In fact, it makes us losers in God’s idea creation of abundant life.

There are always positive ways to turn a bad situation into something of which we can all peaceably live with; one is ATTITUDE. But are we willing to try? Gives you something to think about, right? We should all be brave enough to take a stance in truly finding solutions in implementing peace and unity.

If we all simply practiced some decent human kindness toward one another maybe, just maybe, we can embrace what it is we always talk about and what God intended to blossom in us…PEACE and LOVE! After all, everyone has the human need to feel understood, loved and accepted. Never underestimate the power within to make a positive difference in the lives of others. “You Better Stop Playing, and Start Playing.”  Let’s STOP talking about it and instead, BE about it!  Are you up for the journey?
